- Why oh why do this lot always get comparisons to Sonic
Youth and Pavement? I can't hear it, maybe
- their music is a bastard hybrid of the 2, but this,
together with an
- (un?)healthy obsession with manga and plastic sci-fi
toys permeating
- into the lyrics, make for a good racket which, justifiably,
gave them their first top 40 hit.
- They've eventually
managed to sort themselves sorted out after departing Che Records,
setting up their own label Oni and releasing a new album which
is reassuringly familiar.
