Technically the most sonically perfect of all Scottish bands, EVER, the Nile were so clean and crisp that they were chosen by Linn (posh hi-hi manufacturers) to be their test disk band. Astonishingly, the sounds and songs were so good that they decided to release these and a discerning public took them to their hearts with 2 classic albums. Fell away when they decided that synthesisers were on the way out, not realising that cod-gospel wasn't in either.
