Crazy name, crazy sounds. Odd perhaps for a band from Carnoustie, known only for golf and fishing. So the band branched out a little, moving to Glasgow, supporting Idlewild in England, and releasing a single on a Bristol label. The music? Tricky, they are spiritual cousins of Dawn of the Replicants, though really just for the fact they write compelling songs which are actually oddly catchy, in an odd way. Must be that country air.
