The 2008 lineup sees over 40 bands playing during the month of May and ranges from international superstars such as Idlewild, indie legends like Teenage Fanclub's Norman Blake and former Josef K frontman Paul Haig, as well as up-and-coming talent including The Twilight Sad, Frightened Rabbit and Foxface. That's just the showcase gigs at the Carnegie - with Stars of The Lid in Aberdeen, Caribou playing Edinburgh and a Glasgow set from ballboy, it's an indie music fan's dream.
