The Film Society enters its 39th season and again includes a varied mix of movies which we believe will appeal to our membership. We have endeavoured to provide a balanced programme which will appeal to the membership.

Among the attractions for 2011-12 a clutch of recent Oscar nominations includingInception, Black Swan and The Illusionist, plus the Coen Brothers' remake of True Grit and the Peter Jackson-directed Lovely Bones.

Things kick off on September 12th with another highly-regarded film,The King's Speech.
