Possibly post-rock pioneers round these parts, predating Mogwai as they do by a year or two, but not that similar, incorporating saxophone into their drone (not for a while, mind you!). The band split due to James emigrating to the USA, and while there should be something new from the remains of the lineup, expect a slightly different sound.
